Welcome to LEUSD
New District and School Web Sites Coming Soon!
LEUSD will start the new 2015-16 school year with a brand new set of school and district Web sites. During this transition, familiar school and district Web sites may be temporarily disrupted as the new sites are registered across the Internet. When complete, all school and district web sites will have a new look and feel, designed for today's mobile device users, and hosted by our new web partner, Edlio.
Announcing Full Day State Preschool Program
LEUSD is currently offering free or reduced preschool for students ages 3-5 for qualifying families for the 2015-2016 School Year. This new Full Day preschool program runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including breakfast, two snacks, and lunch. Contact the Children and Family Services office for an application by calling (951) 253-7091, or download Eligibility and application material on the Children and Family Services department page.
Online Enrollment for National School Lunch & Breakfast Programs Starts July 20
Families who are income eligible may obtain free or reduced-price meals for their children. Application forms are also being distributed to all households with a letter informing families of the availability of free and reduced-price meals for enrolled children. Applications will be available at the registrar’s office in each school after August 1st. To apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits, households must complete the application and return it to the school cafeteria or Food Services Department for processing.

Children who receive CalFresh (Food Stamps), California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs), Kinship Guardianship Assistance Payments (Kin-GAP), or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) benefits are eligible for free meals regardless of the income of the household in which they reside. Foster children also eligible.

Applications may be submitted online starting Monday, July 20. Applications will also be available at the registrar's office in each school after August 1st. Click to view a news release about the program application process and eligibility requirements.
 
Individual Student Score Reports coming in August
In mid to late August, parents of students in grades 3–8 and 11 will receive individual student score reports from the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) system.
